5th E Wisdom Forum Media Release

Described by attendees as the “must attend investment forum of the year”, E-wisdom Forum, New Zealand’s premier property and investment event, attracted over 600 professionals and investors from across the country.

 

E-wisdom Forum Founder Frank Cui said the number of attendees this year was the highest ever at the event demonstrating there’s a heightened awareness in the property investment sector of staying relevant and keeping up with change. The original idea behind the event was to guide Chinese community investors comply with New Zealand legislation and taxation.

 

“Our community want to know more in taxation, legislation, sustainability and economic. With help from professionals, they can make the right decision. For local professionals, they can deliver services more efficiently, for lower fees, and to better meet the needs of their clients,” said Cui.

 

“In particular, it was great to see so many professionals and investors attending the event. Both are under pressure to find more efficient ways to meet their needs and E-wisdom provided a platform for them to explore more options.”

 

Senior Tax Consultant from Deloitte New Zealand, Cindy Dong says this is the forum to explain how IRD works on taxation and help investors understand the extension of old bright-line test to five years for residential land.

 

Jarrod Kerr from Kiwi bank, described by attendees as an “inspiring and motivational of the day”, Kerr addressing the economic trends in short and long-term for New Zealand.

 

Held in Ellerslie Event Centre, the forum connected delegates with New Zealand’s leading investment thinkers and industry professionals and covered every subject in property investment.

 

Keynote speaker Mark Weingarth, enjoyed sharing from the day. “E-wisdom is a great way to meet other people who are work in the industry and implementing sustainable development solutions for Auckland and what the future will bring,” Mr. Weingarth said about the event.

 

“There were so many opportunities for learning through the speakers, It was great to see so many people from Chinese community attending the forum, and so many conversations and questions being exchanged between those in the know, and those that want to know,” said Mr. Cui.
